Patricia Morosan studierte Filmwissenschaften und Kunstgeschichte in Berlin und Photographie an der Ostkreuzschule in Berlin und HGB Leipzig. Sie ist Teil des internationalen Fotokollektivs “Temps Zero (www.tempszero.com). Ihre Fotos, Bücher und Filmen wurden unter anderen in Les Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles – Fotohaus Paris Berlin, beim Boutographies Festival (Pavillon Populaire, Montpellier), Villa Perochen Niort, Franciscaine Museum Deauville, Bursa Fotofestival (Türkei), Noorderlicht Festival (Holland), in Rumänien in der Museum für Zeitgenössische Kunst, Salonul de Proiecte und Goethe Institut Bukarest, in Berlin (AFF Galerie, Galerie Alte Feuerwache, Bildband Berlin, Haus am Kleistpark, Kommunale Galerie Berlin, Galerie Franzkowiak), Athen (TAF Metamatic, KET Television Center, Benaki Museum/Athens Fotofestival), Paris (Cite Internationale des Arts, Galerie Macadam, Atelier Varan), FotoWien (12-14 contemporary,  Kunstnetzwerk, Schikaneder Kino), Bolzano (Foto Forum), Lissabon (ICR Gallery, Galeria Sa da Costa) gezeigt.

Sie gewann 2019  der “New European Photography Award “- Preis der Jury bei der Fotofestival Boutographies in Montpellier , den Couragepreis  2019 des Journalistinnenbundes Deutschlands. Nominiert wurde Patricia Morosan zum Kunstpreis Haus am Kleistpark Berlin (2019), für den Dokumentarpreis der Wüstenrot Stiftung/Museum Folkwang (2020), Gomma Grant (2021), BUP Award (2022) nominiert. Sie erhielt zahlreich Stipendien, unter anderen den Initial Stipendium der Akademie der Künste Berlin (2021), den Kulturaustausch Stipendium des Berliner Senats (2021), verschiedene Projektförderungen von Berliner Senat und AFCN Bukarest (2019-2023), sowie den IASPIS Stipendium Schweden (2023) und Brancusi Stipendium bei der Cite Internationale des Arts Paris (2024)

Ihre Arbeiten befinden sich in der Sammlung der MNAC Bukarest (Museum für Zeitgenössische Kunst), Museum der Stadt Montpellier, Les Franciscaine Museum Deauville und in privaten Sammlungen in Deutschland, Frankreich und Griechenland. Sie ist vertreten von Galerie Franzkowiak Berlin.

Sie hat vier Künstlerbücher rausgebracht: “Sun Stands Still” ( 2017, dienacht Publishing, Leipzig), “(I) Remember Europe” (2022, Fotohof Edition, Salzburg), M/OTHER (Eigenverlag, limitierte Edition,2023) und “Telepoetics. Practices of Intimacy at Distance” ( sun/sun Edition, Montpellier, 2024).

She received various grants, among which the Initial stipend of the Akademie der Künste Berlin (2021), exchange stipend of the Berlin Senate for Culture and Europe (2021), various funding for her projects from Berlin Senate and AFCN Fund Romania (2019-2023), the IASPIS residency grant Sweden (2023) and the Brancusi grant at Cite Internationale des Arts Paris. 

Her work is part of the permanent collection of MNAC Bucharest (National Museum of Contemporary Arts), the Museum of the city of Montpellier, Les Franciscaine Museum Deauville an in several private collection in Germany, France and Greece. She is represented by Gallery Franzkowiak Berlin.
